This free course is split into 6 manageable units:

  1. Understanding Person-Centred Thinking and Planning
  2. Care Planning for the Care Worker
  3. Understanding Nutrition and Hydration in Health and Social Care Settings
  4. Principles of Supporting an Individual to Maintain Personal Hygiene
  5. Understanding Continence Care
  6. Principles of Supporting Sleep

Eligibility

  • Learners must be aged 19 or over as of the 31/8/2019
  • Learners must be living in England and have lived in the EU for the last 3 years
  • Learners cannot be on another government funded course of apprenticeship
