Overview
There were an estimated 5.5 million private sector businesses in the UK at the start of 2016. Despite the recent economic difficulties, the trend has been steadily increasing in the business population. Today’s global economy brings with it a wealth of new markets, shrinking profit margins and increasing operating expenses; the need for good business administration has never been greater.
What you will learn
This free course is split into manageable units:

Eligibility
Fully funded subject to meeting the eligibility criteria:
- Living in England
- Have lived in the UK/EU/EEA for at least 3 years*
- 19+ at the start of the academic year (19-23-year-olds must have Level 2 prior attainment)
- Not on an apprenticeship
- Not completed any part of the course before
*EEA nationals will need to have obtained either pre settlement or settled status and provide evidence of this.
Course Delivery
Delivered by Learning Curve Group (LCG) – national training and education specialists.

- Paper based learning is considered under special circumstances
Course Duration
The government-funded course will take an average of 6 weeks but depends on the learning provider and learner’s ability.
Awarding Body
NCFE CACHE or TQUK depending on location. Awarding organisations nationally recognised by the qualification regulators for each country of the United Kingdom.
Funding
Fully funded via the UK Government in the form of the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
